AceCad’s software used for Pioneering Vehicle Parking Application

MAG Robotic Systems are pioneering the future of vehicle parking, which they believe is in fact robotic parking: being not more space, but rather more intelligence, that will solve the parking problems of today and those of tomorrow.
Two of MAG Robotics Systems latest innovative projects, both detailed on StruCad, include the Robotic Chauffer Complexes at the IBN Batuta Offices, Dubai (1000 tonnes) and at the Emirates Financial Towers, Dubai (1500 tonnes). These revolutionary complexes enable the complete robotic parking of vehicles within a convenient multi storey development.
The IBN Batua Complex incorporates 765 car parking spaces over seven levels measuring just 18m in height and with a footprint of 76m x 30m, whilst the Emirate Financial Towers Complex will facilitate 1200 car parking spaces when completed early next year.
Mr Ramanathan Ramasubbu of MAG Robotic Systems commented, "Using StruCad enabled us to be very efficient across the IBN Batua project, with the total time taken for steel fabrication and project completion - including all robotic machinery, approximately eight months".
For the driver approaching the IBN Batua Complex, the parking of the vehicle is simple. The driver enters the complex and parks on a pallet at the ground floor entrance, leaving the car just as if it were being parked by a valet. The driver swipes a card on leaving the complex and the automated system does the rest - transporting the car via computer control using various horizontal and vertical conveyors lifting the vehicle until it is parked in a permanent position.
When the owner of the vehicle returns, with a swipe of their card, the system informs the driver which gate to go to, for retrieval of their car. This takes approximately one to two minutes on average, with the vehicle then ready to drive away.
